SMP Solutions has successfully renewed its information security certifications
SMP Solutions has successfully completed its annual surveillance audit, as a result of which it continues to comply with the requirements of the ISO/IEC 27001 international information security standard. A particularly significant achievement is that the company has made a seamless transition to the latest version of the standard, dated 2022.
During the audit, SMP was awarded ISO/IEC 27017:2015 and ISO/IEC 27018:2019, which attest to the secure operation of cloud services and a high level of protection for the personal data processed. These certifications currently apply to the company’s SAMI service and also lay the foundations for the security compliance of new cloud-based solutions to be introduced in the future.
The auditors gave special recognition to SMP’s incident management practices, highlighting the expertise of its specialist team and the organisation’s mature information security operations. In the coming period, whilst maintaining its certifications, SMP will also be paying particular attention to the upcoming NIS2 compliance requirements and the challenges of the next audit cycle.
