Budapest Athletics Stadium

The challenge

As part of the Budapest Athletics Stadium project, we had to deliver infrastructure involving significant technical complexity within a tight timeframe and in a complex construction environment. During construction, particular attention had to be paid to coordinating the various trades working in parallel, protecting the systems and cable networks that had already been installed, and dealing swiftly with any unexpected technical issues that arose on site.

Implementation

SMP Solutions was responsible for installing the facility’s passive IT network, whilst continuously adapting to the schedule of this large-scale project and the on-site conditions. We responded swiftly to any unexpected technical issues that arose during the project and, where necessary, mobilised our international supplier network to procure the required equipment and components. As a result, we were able to complete the works to the required standard despite the tight deadlines and the complex construction environment.
