Soffie Smart Office Platform
Soffie is SMP Solutions’s proprietary smart office platform, which brings together the key functions of a modern working environment within a single system. Among other things, it supports workstation and meeting room booking, attendance management and indoor navigation, whilst connecting to the corporate environment via Microsoft integration. The platform also enables the integration of access control, security, HR and car park systems, thereby providing a unified digital interface for day-to-day operations. With Soffie, SMP builds on its own software development and integration expertise to offer a comprehensive solution for creating a smart office environment.
The product
A single app for the workplace: desk and meeting room booking with Microsoft 365 synchronisation, iBeacon-based indoor navigation, NFC check-in, visitor management and Skidata car park integration, with utilisation analyses for facility management.
Engineering background
Soffie is a product developed from an R&D programme funded by the NKFIH, which was completed in 2002 at a cost of approximately 300 million forints. It runs on Azure and OpenShift, and integrates SAP HR, Gamanet C4 and leading access control systems.
Why is this important as a reference?
Soffie proves that SMP is also a force to be reckoned with as a software company: development on schedule, enterprise integrations and an active user base. It is backed by the same engineering team as SMP MyHealth and SAM-I.
