MVM Dome
The MVM Dome, one of Europe’s leading handball and events arenas, relies on a digital display system installed by SMP Solutions. The centrally controlled solution, which covers the entire venue, supports the display of wayfinding information, advertising and event content. The integrated system ensures flexible and consistent visual communication throughout various events.
The project
Design, installation, and programming of the arena's digital signage network, built for fast content switching between sport events, concerts, and conferences.
The challenge
When designing an information and visualisation system for a large-scale, multi-purpose event venue, it is essential to anticipate, right from the planning stage, situations that may become critical during subsequent operation. The system must support the provision of quick and clear information to visitors, as well as the effective management of changing event scenarios or even a potential evacuation. All of this requires high availability, reliable operation and careful planning.
Implementation
SMP Solutions provided the client with ongoing professional support throughout the project and, drawing on international experience, presented the various technological and application options. As a result, a digital information and display system was created that is efficient, flexible to use and, at the same time, delivers a high-quality visual experience. The solution supports the rapid and eye-catching display of information throughout the entire event venue.
What we’re proud of
We have been able to capitalise on and further develop the experience gained during the MVM Dome project in our subsequent large-scale construction projects. For us, the successful handover of a project does not necessarily mark the end of our collaboration: our aim is to build on the knowledge we have gained to support our partners in the long term, and to continuously refine our solutions in line with new technological possibilities.
