OTP Bank M12 headquarters
OTP Bank’s M12 headquarters is the largest individual project in the history of SMP. It is a cross-divisional initiative that brings together the fields of smart facilities, security technology and IT services within a single flagship building.
The challenge
A new bank headquarters must combine the comfort of an office, the security of a bank and the reliability of a data centre. The traditional approach to achieving this involves separate suppliers, contracts and timetables, and responsibility is often unclear. OTP was looking for a single partner to take full responsibility for the building’s entire technology system.
The solution
SMP implemented the entire low-voltage system: structured cabling, IP-based video surveillance, iBeacon-based indoor positioning, access control and the IT infrastructure linking these together. The system was designed as a unified, integrated solution, rather than as a series of parallel installations.
The results
A smart headquarters where the facilities, security and IT systems share a common ‘nervous system’. A benchmark that demonstrates what SMP’s six business divisions are capable of when they work as a single unit.
