Security check
An independent assessment of the status of security systems, processes and compliance.
SMP’s security audit services
The level of security is not determined solely by the technology used: the condition, configuration, documentation, integration and operation of the systems all have an impact. SMP’s security audits provide an objective picture of the existing environment, identify risks and support management decisions in setting development and investment priorities.
An IT audit assesses the IT infrastructure, cyber security controls and operational processes – ranging from access control and endpoint protection through to network security and NIS2 compliance criteria. The technical audit examines security systems: access control, CCTV, fire alarm and intrusion detection systems, along with the associated documentation, integrations and operational processes.
Both reviews begin with an on-site assessment, continue with analysis and risk assessment, and conclude with an executive summary, a prioritised action plan and a development roadmap. The outcome is therefore not merely the identification of risks, but a practical course of action for improvement.
Security audit
SMP’s comprehensive technical audit identifies weaknesses and risks in security systems and maps out opportunities for improvement. It provides an objective overview of the current situation and offers practical recommendations to ensure more efficient and reliable operation.

SMP, a comprehensive review, assesses the security and compliance of the IT environment and evaluates operational risks. The outcome of the audit is an action plan organised by priority and a development package containing specific recommendations.

- Two areas, one partner: we carry out audits of both the IT environment and security systems – from access control and network security to access control, CCTV, fire alarm and intruder alarm systems.
- An objective assessment of the situation: a detailed survey of the existing environment, based on site visits, interviews and a review of documentation and systems.
- Risk-based priorities: we identify and prioritise gaps, vulnerabilities and critical points according to their impact on business operations, availability and security.
- NIS2-criteria audit: the IT audit also covers the NIS2 compliance criteria and concludes with specific recommendations for security improvements.
- Decision-supporting output: an executive summary, a prioritised action plan and a development roadmap, which provide a basis for more informed investment and modernisation decisions.
- Feasible development strategy: we are drawing up measures that can be implemented in the short, medium and long term, as well as proposals for modernisation and cost optimisation, with a view to achieving more efficient and reliable operations.
