Edward Papp is the chairman of the board of OTP Bank-PICK Szeged
At its meeting on 26 February 2026, the Board of Directors of OTP Bank-PICK Szeged elected a new chairman: following the resignation of the previous chairman, Dr Ernő Péter Szűcs, the club’s owner, Edward Papp, was appointed to head the board. The Chief Executive Officer of SMP Solutions Zrt. has been a member of the club’s board since July 2025.
OTP Bank-PICK Szeged is one of Hungary’s most successful handball clubs, having been a key player in the domestic league and on the international stage for many years. The appointment of Edward Papp marks the start of a new chapter in the club’s history, whilst the team’s goal remains unchanged: to remain a leading force in both the domestic and European top flights.
