SMP triumphs at the Tour de Zalakaros Company Challenge!
This was the third time that SMP Solutions had taken part in the Tour de Zalakaros – Szabadics Ride – Company Challenge cycle race.
As was the case last year, we fielded two cycling teams this year: one in the competitive category and one in the leisure category represented the company. Once again, the participants had to cycle around Kis-Balaton, but this time under even tougher conditions than usual: at the event held on 20 July 2026, tropical heat of 32–35 degrees put the competitors to the test.
The amateur team put in an outstanding performance and broke the company record in terms of both time and finishing position. They finished 11th out of a field of 43 teams, completing the 38-kilometre course in 1 hour 20 minutes. Congratulations to Rajmund Csóka, András Ecsedi, Gábor Illés, Csaba Rácz-Jankó and Péter Végh.
In the race category, the SMP road cycling team finished in 17th place, with a time of 1 hour and 5 minutes. This is a particularly impressive achievement, given that instead of the five permitted riders, our team set off on the course with just four: János Debreczi, Erik Horváth, Frigyes Kamarás and Ádám Varga made up the team.
Our teams have once again done the SMP Solutions name proud: they performed admirably in the scorching heat and demonstrated what Sport Motivation Performance means to us.
Congratulations on your outstanding performance! 👏👏👏
